Alan Cleland Jr - 2024 Pipe Masters - Hawaii quiver
Cleland’s Quiver: Custom-Built for the 2024 Vans Pipe Masters
When Pipeline calls, only the best answer. Alan Cleland Jr. isn’t showing up to the 2024 Vans Pipe Masters to spectate—he’s coming to throw down against the world’s heaviest hitters. Pipeline is no joke, and the boards under your feet can mean the difference between glory and carnage. That’s why we’ve crafted a custom quiver designed for one of the most demanding waves on the planet.
Here’s what Alan’s bringing:
5’8 x 18.60 x 2.50 x 28L Epoxy Carbon Deck
5’9 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28.09L
5’9 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28L
5’9.5 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28.25L
5’10 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28.37L
5’10 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28.51L
5’10.5 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 28L
6’0 x 18.75 x 2.60 x 30L
6’3 x 18.75 x 2.60 x 31L
6’6 x 18.75 x 2.75 x 34L
These boards are shaped for purpose—fully dialed in outlines, rails, and volumes that can hold their own in maxing Pipeline or Backdoor. The stringerless epoxy carbon deck on the 5’8 is pure function. As the boards scale up, the designs prioritize paddle power and stability to handle without sacrificing performance in the barrel.
Each board has been brought to life with color by Scott Metzner 🎨, blending sharp design with a custom edge that’s all Alan. The boards aren’t just tools—they’re extensions of his approach: fast, committed, and ready to take on the impossible.
Alan’s no stranger to Pipe’s proving grounds, and this year’s roster is stacked. Heavy names, underground chargers, and North Shore locals will all be gunning for the same prize, but Cleland’s prep is next level. He’s stepping into the arena ready to write his name in Pipeline’s history.
This December, watch as the Mexican powerhouse puts it all on the line. His quiver’s locked and loaded—now it’s time!
