Noe ended up with a 5th in that ASP Jr event and just took 1st in the Juniors and 3rd in Open last weekend at the Costa Rica Circuit event.  I wanted to order a few more for him as he has a few Latin Pros coming up as well as the ISA World Junior event.  Lets order 3 this time, exact same dims and glass as the last 2 5,11″s, one round tail the other squash and the third a 6’0″ round tail same shape as others just an inch longer. Please have Timmy shape them.

T. Patterson Surf Shop is calling on local artists, musicians and apparel designers to feature in summer Rolling Rack Launch Party events.

T. Patterson surf shop is getting ready to start their second annual summertime Rolling Rack Launch Party series in April and is looking for local artists, clothing designers and musicians to feature once a month through the season.

“The idea is to feature new or up-and-coming artists, designers and musicians, to give them exposure as well as to offer something new and different to our customers.” said Vicki Patterson, surf shop co-owner. “We want our store to be unique—more than just the same old brands. Our community has so many gifted people and we want to lend our support to them while providing a unique shopping experience every time you visit.”

Last year’s Rolling Rack parties were so successful that there was no question as to whether the events would continue.

At one typical event last year, a full house was treated to a concert by the band Pepper while browsing digital photographic art by Mark Ley and being introduced to the best in local private label clothing design.

“Custom shaped Timmy Patterson surfboards are still our main draw but we like the idea of offering a more interesting shopping experience that supports other local south county artisans. When someone comes to our shop they truly are ‘keeping it local,’” Patterson said.

Also returning this summer will be community Food Swap days, once a month beginning in April. If you cook, bake or grow anything good to eat, the free Food Swap is a great place to exchange your creations for those of others. From wild honey and fresh eggs to baked goods and home grown vegetables, the more participants, the bigger the variety.

“You could bring in your homemade snicker doodles and trade them for Alaskan smoked salmon. It’s like old fashioned bartering. And if you’re into knowing where your food comes from, this is a great way to access unprocessed, handcrafted items to broaden your culinary horizons,” Patterson said. “We will be sharing more information about the Food Swaps soon on our Facebook page.”

The Patterson’s are in the process of booking guests for this summer’s Rolling Rack events and are extending a call to the community’s talented artists.

The ‘Rising Sun’ was designed for the high performance SUP surfer.  These boards have a shortboard inspired outline with a fishy nose and a double winged rounded pin tail.  They have a single concave bottom in the center that blends to double concave, with slight vee out the tail for better maneuverability and rail to rail surfing.

We have had non stop waves sense we landed. Rode the T. Patterson SUP today on the slab and worked well. Overall the board works great. Its def bye far the best one I have ridden before. I’ll send some more pics in a few days. Beer time…cheers!!
