6'1" A-TEAM - SURFTECH TL2

This is a modern shortboard, meaning it’s extremely high-performance yet easy to ride, so you can launch (and pull) advanced maneuvers, aerials, and fin-first landings. Timmy’s signature rail-to-rail concave runs through the tail for quick acceleration and tight, snapping turns. This board, built in TL2 construction, is comparable in weight to our ultra-light PU team boards, yet it provides the long term strength and durability associated with epoxy surfboards. The majority of the T.Patterson team riders are riding this board and the feedback has been phenomenal.

CONSTRUCTION

TL2’s start with the same Techlite EPS core as Tuflite boards. After being hand tuned a layer of Acrylite foam is glassed to the core with Epoxy and glass. This Sandwich core is tuned again before being given a second clear epoxy lamination. Designed to have superior flex patterns and a unique lively response, TL2’s provide a platform for high performance surfers to take their surfing to the next level.
